Scars to Your Beautiful is one of five original songs that reached Billboard's chart. Alessia Cara grew up in Toronto in Canada. She was born on July 11th, 1996 to parents with Italian descent. Her first guitar was purchased by her parents after she turned 10 which ignited her passion for music. Three years later, when she was 13 she started singing her favorite tracks via YouTube.
