Her debut track Here was released in the year 2015. The track received praise by music critics as well as listeners. It reached number 19 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone listed the smash as one the most popular Songs in 2015. It was the same time that she released Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful is one of her five original tracks featured on the Billboard Charts including Billboard Hot 100 for Canada and Billboard 200 for Canada's Album Charts. In an interview that Cara did together with Rap Up, this song had a lot of significance for a lot people listening who were drawn to her story about learning to accept and love your self. Cara's music often contains positive message about mental wellness and the importance of being self-love. All of it is a result of her personal journey as she has struggled with mental health issues as well as insomnia. In a Reuters interview she describes her album as half tumultuous and half complete. Her development was assisted by a therapy. She also encourages her fellow singers, if needed, to seek help. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on July 11, 1996. Alessia Cara's parents bought her an instrument when she was just 10 years old. That was her first step in music. At the age of 13she began covering songs she liked on YouTube in order to show her fans that she had talent and was able to pursue a career as a musician. Indeed she covered one of her tracks Sweater Weather is the song that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to write and record her own tracks.
