It was ranked in the top 19 on both the Billboard Hot 100 in Canada as well as the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the song one of the Top Songs in 2015. Her debut Know It All album in the same year. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was among five tracks that made it to the top spots on Billboard which included Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 in addition to Billboard Hot 100. This particular track was special due to her interview with rapper Rap-Up, many of the listeners shared their experiences through self-doubt and discovering how to accept herself. Cara has earned a name for including messages on emotional health, kindness, and self-love into her music. Her music is an expression of her own struggles with mental illness and insomnia. According to a Reuters Interview, her album has been described as a semi-tumultuous and half-perfected. She claims she has grown through therapy, and encourages other people to get assistance when needed. Alessia Cara is a Canadian performer who was born on July 11 1996 to parents from Italian heritage. Her parents gifted her with their first guitar when she was just 10 years old. It was the beginning of her journey in music. After three years, at 13 years old, she started to sing her favorite tracks on YouTube. It was a great opportunity to show others that she possessed both talent and courage. One of her tracks, Sweater Weather, was what got her noticed. EP Entertainment gave her the opportunity to create and compose her own music.
