In 2015 at 19 she debuted her first single, Here. The single garnered a lot of praise and was well-received by both listeners and critics. It reached 19th place on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named it one of the best songs of 2015. In the same year, she released her first album Know It All, the single Scars to Your Beautiful ranked at the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. It also was one of the original five songs. It was a special track due to the Rap-Up interview that she gave many of her listeners were able to relate to her experience in finding love for themselves, and doubting her. Cara's songs often include positive thoughts about mental health, and how important it is to love yourself. She's been in the midst of anxiety and insomnia that has influenced her music. According to a Reuters interview, her album was described as halfway tumultuous, half perfected. The growth of her career was helped through therapy. She encourages others who need help to ask for assistance. Alessia Cara grew up in Toronto in Canada. Her birth date was July 11, 1996 to parents of Italian origins. The guitar was gifted to her by her parents when she was 10, which ignited the passion for music. In the year 2003, she turned 13, she began singing songs she loved on YouTube. It proved to be a fantastic method to demonstrate to the world that she possessed both the talent and the courage. One of the songs Sweater Weather got noticed by a label known as EP Entertainment which allowed her to compose and record her tracks.
