Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 the 28th of October, 1967. Roberts belongs to four generations of the Robertses that reside in the Atlanta area, starting by her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. She inherited her father's interest in theatre from an early age. When he was a student of Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. While stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was inducted into the air force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. The couple got married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter along with his wife left the military in 1957 and enrolled Walter as a student at Tulane University. In 1960, the family relocated to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for kids named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project that they funded themselves. In the following year, they established The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for a period of six years. In 1965, they welcomed two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
