Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised by an ethnically diverse family. Both her parents have both been English. She was raised in a council estate located south of London. When she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She went to an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned a BA in acting. While at the school, she was a part-time actor in numerous stage productions, including King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. She's appeared as guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film was her role in the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred alongside Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Her success led her to play Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside playing the character of Ollie. The year 2008 saw her had the opportunity to play the role as Bambi in The ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the three and two series. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport in ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just 2 weeks at The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe would leave the show after her appearance on the first episode from the 3rd season. In the television series Salem, she played Tituba from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared as a couple in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty along with four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. All of her brothers were athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey throughout the winter as well as in the summer. Her childhood was spent in baseball and arenas. Ashley was never a walker, she was a dancer, and at the age of 2 1/2 years old she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley was a competitive dancer in all the major categories until the time she graduated from high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, tap, jazz and pointe, as well as acrobatics. In addition, she won the top awards for soloists in every major dance contests, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
